Brother---- as a Soldier I spent a great deal of my life learning about your "former Soviet" experience... and in the 70s my family hosted both a Hungarian and Romanian family in their quest to escape the permanent 1930's ~1940's existence...I actually grew up with their children and to this day they are productive and solid AMERICANS!
Later in the 90's I had the good fortune to travel through Chezk republic, Slovakia, Bosnia, Poland, Romania, and Hungry just after the wall fell and was astounded by the people, the architecture, and how immensely interested in "western culture" the locals were
My country ONLY has a 235+ year history.... My first assignment to Germany (Bamberg) In 1973 was as they (the town folk) were preparing for festivities the next year....1974 ....their 1000th year anniversary of the founding of the village....I am Catholic so visited the local DOM ...Cathedral
The windows depicted with (leaded glass) the profiles of all the Bishops or Cardinals for that church dating back into the 420's AD
So brother...NO you have too long and too proud a history to even compare to my COUNTY
Only claim to fame is Elvis ATE a meal one time ( a hamburger) while assigned to Fort Hood Texas...
That and our fore founders apparently killed whole bunch of Comanche Indians

The World's Smallest Traveling Engine is on the move. Jason currently has it. I'll have the updated list up tonight.

Only, because I realize "where I am" is of no true interest to OUR group--- relative to the MUCHO cool places the Traveling prop visited
How can a 1823 Lampasas Court yard square compare to Nashville and ELVIS fer Christ's sake.. sheesh...Git Er Done!!!
OK OK...enough blubbering about my back water locality...

Shoot Fred, doesn't matter where you are at. Why not build something and fly it? I for one would much rather see it in action then on display. Not that display pictures aren't nice, but it would be great to see it put to use.
I've been through Lampasas a number of times, in the spring those fields of wildflowers on 281 heading into town are downright purty.

I made this glider in 1988
Golondrino means swallow, I inspired in this bird to design.
That is a nice glider! Here's one designed for the little Tee Dee, from about the same time as yours:

Quite a bit smaller at 1m (40in), must be the smallest R/C glider I have ever seen

Alright, I have the list updated. https://www.coxengineforum.com/h36-world-s-smallest-traveling-engine
At this current time, this is the order the engine will travel in. If anyone would like to be moved around, or if shipping costs are a problem (international shipping...), then let me know.

Great...I am looking forward to receiving and fitting it into one of my small R/C planes.

All I have to do is put my cute little Ring Thing together and I'm ready. That should be pretty quick... even considering the source of that absurd statement. I hear y'all laughing.
I'd also like to build my micro stunter in time, but it's not necessary. The winter temperature in Columbia is not a factor.

I remember having seen a table showing the whereabouts of the smallest travelling engine. Where is that table and rather, the engine now?

Jason_WI currently has them both. I last talked to him about 3 weeks ago, he's very busy with work and his parent's farm.

Well, it is called the "Worlds Smallest Traveling Engine......not the Worlds FASTEST Traveling engine. It'll get here sooner or later. I have not received a response from Jason, I did email him my address. Maybe I'll do video of one of my 010's as a "trailer' of future actions of the WSTE !!

Still have not heard anything from Jason. I wonder if we should be getting
worried or concerned?

Re: ***The World's Smallest Traveling Engine*** SIGN UP!
Well, I haven't been able to get a hold of him for the past few months. Not sure what's up. I find it difficult to believe he would give up on it.
I would really like to get the engine out by March, but if we cannot get a hold of him, I'll have to find another .010. At this point, if anyone wants their $5 participation fee back, you can have it. I originally planned to have this engine out spring of 2016 but it was delayed by family health issues. I sent it to Jason last September and last talked to him in November.
I don't plan to give up on it, if we can't get a hold of him, another engine will be used. It would be unfair to everyone who's been waiting and Bernie (Cox International) who has supplied many of the accessories.

Yep, Ron Cribs currently has the engine. I believe he is going to test run it before sending it off. Each member on the list will be contacted before it is sent to them.
Should be pretty soon now.

Re: ***The World's Smallest Traveling Engine*** SIGN UP!
I've come to the realization that I won't get my plane done in time. I will however, test run it and send it to the first guy in the list. I'll have Jacob send me the name and address of the first guy.
I want to stay in the regular rotation and receive it a second time so I can fly it. This will give me time to finish my plane. Also, it will give me a second chance to go through it and replace anything that needs replacing.
As soon as I get a name and address it's out the door!!!
