WE HAVE A WINNER! Congratulations to Mark Boesen and his inverted Pee Wee .020 in a Lil Stinker (correct?).
I'll have the pic up shortly.

RE: Cox engine of the month
Congrats Mark,
I think I placed the first vote for it because it reminded me of the Lil Stinker that I received for Christmas, 1958.
Loved that little thing...It took me a half of Christmas Day to start it and I soon learned that you could sling it faster that it would fly.
Went thru the half pint of fuel pretty quick and had to save up 50 cents and a bus token to go to the LHS for more. I think I remember Dad saying that the whole kit sold for $8.98 !!!
All was right with the world until I went away to USAF boot camp in 1967 and my mother gave it to my cousin. I never saw it again. Ditto for my baseball glove and about a million dollars worth of baseball cards.
My bucket list will be complete when I get another.
Again, Congratulations, Steve......

Re: **VOTE-ON-THE-NEXT-COX-ENGINE-OF-THE-MONTH** (October 2016)
Thanks guys!
It's an old one and had kinda forgot about it when i thought i'd look for a last minute pic, there it was!
I had been rebuilding a semi basket case Li'l Stinker and thought it would make a neat pic. The engine is not original, most early product engines were non-anodized. It does show the great engineering detail that the guys at Cox put into their toys.
In the late sixties, Cox re-introduced the Pitts as 'Mini-Stunt' and 'Red Baron', making the firewall and landing gear one piece, all plastic to reduce cost and engine upright for ease of starting.

Congrats Mark! Great photo, both technically and "idea-wise"
That cherry red is my favourite shade of anodizing, too bad it was used only on the Pee Wee.
