It's a small engine, so it moves in small flights!! I just received a note from Ron Cribbs that it will be on its way to me shortly.

If you guys find it hard to get a reliable needle setting I have a NIP NVA for the .010. It is silver instead of black.

I have that problem licked. I ran the spare needle into the body and had a smooth run. It's going out tomorrow or Wed.

I guess I better start my little plane. Do we have a thread started for pictures and video as it travels?

Ok, I feel moved to get in on this one. I have some experience running/flying TD .010s and would be honored to participate. I was unable to reply to the official Sticky thread above. Maybe I'm not worthy enough as a member?

Thanks. I first tried to reply to that thread on my smart phone to sign up but it wouldn't allow me to post it for some reason. That's why I posted in this thread. Once I tried again from a desktop computer, it worked. Go figure. Anyway, I look forward to participating. In fact, I should have a new TD .010 plane finished soon and would like to mount and send the traveling engine flying on it for a few laps around the patch at our local club field on the Texas coast.

I have a Control Line Stunt friend in Escondido named Charles Carter. If y'all could get together with the engine I think that would be really cool. I can give you his contact info if you're interested.happydad wrote:Happydad

Re: ***The World's Smallest Traveling Engine*** SIGN UP!
I am not sure if I ever will see and display this engine in any e.g. a running situation, despite I have been listed as a participant...
Anyone can guess if we stick to the original list and sequence of participants, or, it just goes on any way we decide to forward the engine to the next participant?

Re: ***The World's Smallest Traveling Engine*** SIGN UP!
This is an old thread, is it the right one for updates?
I have the Tee Dee .010 here in Columbia now, it flew in from Eric in North Carolina yesterday. Nice little kit box, and everything is clean and ready to run. I'll give y'all an update on its adventures during its stay with me.
