Nice Levent. The French always do well with their musical arraingments. Many featured in my collection. When I go I hope it's to the sounds of Mireille Mathieu. I have been following her music since the 60's.

Re: music vids.. some of your favorites
Hi roddie,
I'm guessing most great lead guitar players have run a Cox Engine ! Nice.
Mason Williams wrote Classical Gas back in Cox heyday here...
His original version was influenced by .19s and .35s...
Here is the Cox 1/2A version:

Hi All,
Kieth Jarrett played in Koln... ~1970 I think.
Mr. Gerry Penrose of Penrose Hobbys was our 'Santa'.
Everything Dad and I wanted, he had.
He played 'weird' music.
Years later,
I found Keith Jarrett.
The original version is great.
This version shows how great a piano can be played:

A little corny perhaps but on the lighter side of life, for those who love and experienced small displacement motorcycles.
Reminds me of my 1971 Honda CB100 that was my sole college ride back in the late 1970's to early 1980's, which I recently departed with to a motorcyclist friend older than me with a PHD (Professional Harley-Davidson trained mechanic). I know he'll take good care of it and have a blast riding it.

Good one George. I have 8mm movies of Mark riding his new Honda S90 in the snow on Christmas day in 1977.

Thanks, Bob, sounds like your son had a real blast on that S90. It would be neat if you had a converted to digitized video one or video'd the projector screen in play, and posted it.
Dave, hmmm ... how can I say this?
Here is another music video showing this guy's love for nothern Europe's snow, his adventures with his C90:
He seems to truly love the snow and camping out in the snow. I am too warm weather acclimated, lived 3 years on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, 17 years in Hawaii and a decade in Southern California when younger.
Dave, hmmm ... how can I say this?
- I must admit :
- that one by the same video blogger was a bit over the top. I've seen others use clips from that same WW2 movie. The producers did such a realistic job on selecting actors and actresses that looked almost exactly like the photos from then and voices sounding just like the persons they were mimicking. But, with colorful language using a wiring diagram from a Goldwing for a C90 was a bit too, well, you know ...
Here is a similar CT90 wiring diagram
1977 Honda CT90 wiring diagram obtained from dratv.com 09 July 2006
Those of you can read / are familiar with wiring diagrams, you can't get simpler than this. My 1971 CB100's diagram was almost a mirror. The battery charging circuit is very simple. The alternator produces A.C. that through a silicon bridge rectifier (4 diodes in one unit with best efficiency as a full wave versus half-wave, I replaced my earlier much larger selenium finned one with a 60 PIV - peak inverse voltage 25 Amp rated silicon bridge), puts out DC, using the battery's internal resistance as the regulator. Battery must be in place for tests and runs, if one removes it with engine running, alternator voltage can greatly exceed rated voltage and blow out all 6 Volt (later 12 Volt) bulbs and the ignition coil, and possibly fry the rectifier.
My 2001 Kawasaki ZG1200 Tourer wiring diagram is similar in complexity to the earlier Goldwing 1200 mentioned in the video.

Hi All,
I was on a nice ebike ride two weeks ago, on a sunny day.
I got an 'earworm' that bugged me.
My, 'ham fisted google knuckles', actually found this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lx5Y_up-zqk
The last half reminds me of,
Needling a Cox engine,
And Landing.
Take care,
Have fun,
Dave

Hi All,
Happy belated New Year and all That...
I got an ear worm song in my head.
I cannot figure out what it is.
It comes with cool video...
I cannot decide between V and polyhedral...
And want my Cox .049 to haul one up, and thermal...
And refuel, when thermals run out.
Here is the video,
(anyone know what the song is?)

I prefer Bob's version. Song is the same in namesake only, but was the original Forever Young. Quoted at my brother's funeral by his commanding officer, so it has special meaning to me.

Hi All,
I found an old casette tape with 'all lined up' written on it.
Googled it.
I found the perfect Cox.049 control line song !
( I think it lasts the same time as a 1oz tank through a Cox Engine too ! )
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqC-YhTBRxU
Take care,
Have fun,
Dave
P.S. Also the song 'leans out' towards the end.

Re: music vids.. some of your favorites
Hi folks. I'm about to blow my own trumpet here (well actually, Bass Guitar. We dont have a trumpet)
I've posted a couple of videos of our band previously and a number of people seemed to enjoy them. We had opportunity to do a concert in a very nice venue with full tech support, so we decided to try to do a decent job of recording & filming the whole shebang. Hope you enjoy it. I don't expect you to watch it all the way through, but skip through and see what you think. I would recommend one of my favorites at the 21:50 minute mark.
WARNING- If you are offended by Christian themes, I'm sorry, that's what floats our boat!! You can always skip to the next song.
