Good one Levent.
I’ll raise you one Kim Stricker signature… awesome tune. I love when it comes on over the radio, which isn’t often these days.

You know, sometimes I'm sure that ALL the radio stations I can receive are issued the same, monotonous playlist. I wish the program managers would maybe take some time to sort down through all the great tunes...many of them that barely made the top 40...that were/are so cool.

I remember when Warren Zevon came to my hometown Bryn Mawr, PA. My mother was intrigued and wanted to check it out. We walked to the coffehouse/bar he was playing known as the Main Point. It was very small and I remember the door opening and I was blown away by the amount of people crammed in there. Warren up on the little stage and everyone was getting rowdy. We only stayed for a few minutes but it left me with a memory that I never forgot. I wasn't present however when he sang the Werewolves of Bryn Mawr. Every now and again I hear that version on the radio.

While I'm comfortable with the Allman Brothers Band and grease up to my elbows a little side trip into culture never hurt.
El Condor Pasa (The Condor Passes) and set to words in 1963 (If I could) by Paul Simon.
Perhaps my all time favorite instrumental.

What's not to love for a R/C C/L flyer.

"In the bone colored dawn, me and Gypsy Scotty are singin'.
The radio is playin, she left her shoes out in the back.
He tells me a story about some girl he knows in Kentucky.
He just made that story up, there ain't no girl like that!"

Reminded me too Bob, of the first minute of my EL Condor Pasa video above. Only the musician being a whole lot more attractive than a bald headed old man. oops, close to home, for me like looking in a mirror.

Tree Top Flyer. What a good song & the video is cool also.
I had to have my Crosby Stills & Nash CD with me this morning on my MikeyD's Mocha Frap run. I get my frap and sit in my car for an hour or so and play my music in the shade. Then think of where to go from there, usually just back home. It's close to nap time by then.

Re: music vids.. some of your favorites
Awesome musician and band. And the Cod Piece back in those days!!!! Ritchie Blackmore sights Ian Anderson as one of his favourite artists and was known to regularly attend his concerts. Which I thought odd back in the day given the music Blackmore played, but then when he went medieval with his wife to form Blackmore Knight I understood completely.
Ian Anderson is amazing and really created his own genre.

Best band I ever saw in concert. I never saw that many bands back in the day but they were great.
This is kind of a fun video to watch. I don't know if she faking the surprised looks just to do a "First Time Hearing" thing but she's doing a good job of it anyway and she's cute.

Thanks for that Kim. I've been listening to that for years and had no idea what he was singing.

Yeah, Fogerty loved to slur his words, and often had a good time by changing the lyrics of his songs.

Love CCR in the 8 track days, still do! Fogerty was a prolific songwriter. I think they lasted four years and had many hits.
This is after CCR
he got the voices speakin riddles
he got the eye as black as coal
he got a suitcase covered in rattlesnake hide
and he stands right in the road
