I like the blade msr tx better than the hk, would rather bind that to a second rx. However if I understand correctly would have to bind every time switching aircraft and same fot the HK tx;which negates me doing that for simplicity.
Thats the real reason I bought the cox icon 3ch and that plan became a steaming pile rather quickly too as usual with my plans

Flew it with a 400 brushed motor with a Nicad pack, then put a Grayson outrunner DD motor and a 1250mAh 11.1 Lipo battery.
A lot more fun after the upgrade.
Get Unc to put an inrunner on it Dude.
The boys at my club have Zagi's and I hide when they come out.....
I have my eye on one of these, still nib, no motor.

I think we will leave it as is. It is pretty zippy, and some eyes are not as good as they used to be... I have seen people use 6s batteries on these things, and yes, you would want to hide. They make great combat planes.
Did I mention the original brushed motor nearly melted through the plastic mount after running the 11.1v Lipo?

Forgive me, it was 6s. They were a little larger, but you still would not believe the power to weight ratio these things had. They were very loud swinging APC props.

I remember thinking when I got it, due to prop size I was going at least throttled 049 (very minimum) with it but I tend to overkill with displacement at times

No replacement for displacement, but turbocharging, blowers and nitrous can help a little but they just don`t fit well inKim wrote:Jaspur_x wrote:nitroairplane wrote:Lol I was uctially considering a tee dee .020 with ring on the bipe that you got but thought better of it lol.

Hey indra i got my UMX Beast but i was disappointed to find that my battery didn't fit my old charger... so i spent £30 for a charger and it came with a spare battery. Do you think i should use dual rates when i fly mine? thx

Well with your transmitter you have no choice I think you meant high rates or low rates.Ziimzy wrote:Hey indra i got my UMX Beast but i was disappointed to find that my battery didn't fit my old charger... so i spent £30 for a charger and it came with a spare battery. Well ailerons low and rudder and elevator high.
You have no exponentials.
Ziimzy,exactly,and...........
exactly what Nitroairplane said and I have no idea what either of you are talking about, but I was going to say something really funny about all this but instantly thought better of all that
You are far better off going with nitro`s plan there.

Pure old-school horse hooie.
Why is it that current Ford Mustangs produce better gas mileage, lower emissions, more horsepower, with lighter weight from fewer cubic inches than ever before?

Rrefinements of the old school, but you already knew that SD. But its not the 4cyl engine either is it dave? srill a variation of the 5.0l v8 I would bet.
The 4cyl mustang of the late 80`sor was it early 90`s was a true dog, weak engine in a car that ws heavy enough should have a v8.
The current v6`s do have some zip too, but 80`s v6`s were for the most part weak too and some hogged up as much gas as an efficient v8.
The old school designs were inefficient, hence no replacement for displacement.
Teedee010 screams its head off but so does the teedee020, whick pulls a heavier plane? displacement wins, you knew that too SD
