The only car I've ever driven that would do a four-wheel drift is a Sunbeam Tiger V-8 but it would also "swap ends" when doing one. I drove this car in auto-cross competitions successfully against BB Corvette's.
260 or 289 Dave?

One of the most significant books I've read in recent years is "Collapse" by Dr. Jared Diamond of UCLA.
Diamond details various civilizations that either adapteed to change or perished because the didn't.
Details upon request.

And thus, we are back to dual rates again, or opinionated rates,, alternating rates??
Inevitable rates??. At this point in time, we can take our pick, but eventually there will be only one choice.

I Had a 289 Dave, one of my favourite cars ever next to my Dads Jensen FF which he purloined
from his boss for a weekend when I was a nipper.
