Re: Diesel Hopper
Never had a diesel and have never seen one in operation
The ones you usually show are interesting and of course unique to me
I probably sounded like a glow juice snob in some of my previous posts about diesel engines
For that I am embarrassed
Keep sharing you collection is truly impressive

They are to pretty to get all gummed up. Do you ever fly them?

From the above engines, I have only run the purple headed one because I didn't want to mess up the adonising. Where I live, IC engines are not permitted so I only fly electric.
I haven't flown any IC engined plane for years and am envious of the chaps on this site who do. Still, I can say that I have run more engines than anyone else here - glow or diesel! (But flown with very few!!)

Everyone has there preference on engines, mine is diesel - the sound and the smell is awesome. That is because I am British and when I started with engines - glow fuel was astronomically expensive, nitro methanol was scarce but everything for diesel fuel could be obtained (at any age!) from the local chemist (drug store).
There are also new restrictions coming into place in the UK (from the EU!!) restricting nitromethanol sales and requiring licenses for quantities.
