Anyone in Orange County have an 049 glow plug?
Thanks in advance to this board.
My brothers and I are in Tustin, looking after my fathers home since he recently passed. In the attic, we found a very inexpense OLD 2 channel Cessna with a cox 049. We got to work... It has become a mission to get this thing flying before people leave in a few days.
We are down to one .049 glow plug to get this flying.
I called COX and the are in Canada. I ordered the part... but it will be 2 weeks.
Is there anyone in the Tustin, CA area that could sell me an 049 glowplug? I would be happy to change the order of the new plug to your address, in return.
THANKS!

Re: Anyone in Orange County have an 049 glow plug?
Hi, Jim. I don't have a new one, but if you PM me your address I will put a used one or two in the mail first thing Tuesday morning.
Unless you run over-lean with too high nitromethane, and less than a pair of copper head gaskets it's not likely the head you have will go bad. They mostly last a lifetime. I'll toss a couple of extra gaskets in too.
