Sky Cruiser
Hi everyone.I have another problem with My Sky Cruiser.Tower Hobbies is aware of this and is taking care of it.I dont like the gear system on the esc/servo board.I had the gear came off during flight and I lost the evevator. They r sending Me another board. If I keep having problems with it Im going to see if I can set up micro servos, esc and reciever of My choice. The plane flys real good.It just seems the gear set up is a problem.Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: Sky Cruiser
The gears on both servos keep coming off during flight.I tried putting a little loctite on but no good.Anyone have any Idea besides changing all the guts and putting real servos in.

Re: Sky Cruiser
I will try and take some pics.As far as a place to put a set screw. There is no room at all to put a screw in there.Tower Hobbies is sending a new board.Im going to try that one and see what happens. My friend and I already have some ideas of putting in all new electronics.I think it can be a real nice plane once the bugs are worked out.

Re: Sky Cruiser
I have a Spektrum micro linear servo with a loose gear - the motor spins but doesn't move the slider.
There's not much you can do other than getting a replacement.

Re: Sky Cruiser
Thanks for the info.My new board should be in tomorrow.Im going to put a spot of CA on the shaft and maybe that will help keep the gears on.
