Enraged fried chicken buyers; must be an awesome sight to behold!
Must be time for SUPER CHICKEN to step from the shadows and don his cape to frive them away.

It is not the greatest part of town. You sure wouldn't want to be there at night! Minneapolis=Murderapolis you wake up every morning to hear on the news that someone was shot, stabbed, hit and run, home invasions, shoplifting.... Its about the same with any big city though. Fortunately Roseville's finest has kept the suburb under control so we don't have to put up with much of this maybe a shoplifting at the mall, domestic disturbance or a stolen car every so often. The crime in Minneapolis and St. Paul isn't nothing compared to New York City, Detroit and Los Angeles.

Chickens are one step away from a vegetable and they are not endangered. I have hauled live chickens for foster farms,,they have no idea what is going on to them, they are just along for the ride. Believe me. Kill em and grill em.

I know all about that some guy got shot at the end of my road a few years back and I live in one of the safest areas.
And that carnival stabbing was a 6 min walk fro my house.
But If you live in a city you know a lot can change in 6 mins.

I've decided you must have to pass a "Stupid" test to get a job at KFC.

This thread is amazing!
Have you no compassion for the minium-wage worker or the under-employed? Snipe if you will, but this a MAJOR problem in the current world recession.
Where ARE the jobs anyway? (And DON'T blame George Bush) That's not an answer.

And just how do you know that as fact? You've obviously not been unemployed during the current economic "unpleasantness".
Just because YOU don't have a problem doen't mean that others don't. BTW, I'm a moderate Conservative and no disciple of President Obama.)

but on the other hand, a kfc is actually a very expensive franchise to run, compared to similar franchises, dueRknRusty wrote:I've decided you must have to pass a "Stupid" test to get a job at KFC.
Popeyes is my favorite.
to their highly specialized and custom kitchen equipment, like industrial grade pressure cookers that are designed to work mainly with cooking oil.

Re: KFC or Chick Fil-A
yep, a lot of times, kfc puts their chicken under the heater lamps. that makes the chicken really dry at times...
in that way, popeyes is better.

dave, i don#t want you out of the topic!
i just thought that we don't have to discuss political matters here.
believe me, i don't want anyone out of topics. this discussion just went a little too far for my taste, whe the original topic
was, what chicken the members prefer

Re: KFC or Chick Fil-A
I sway away from the KFC. I bought one of there 3 piece meals and bit into a thigh with a unknown big puss pocket on the side. Had bloody, oily, raw chicken juice running down the side of my face. about barfed.
Now it's only oven baked chicken for me, no more pressure grease fry.

Re: KFC or Chick Fil-A
Okay, lets stop the political arguments. I don't mind it here and there but sometimes it becomes too much.
Do you like KFC or Chick Fil-A? Anymore political discussion about low wage workers etc. etc.... and I will have to lock the topic because it is causing too much trouble.
I understand there is a problem in our country right how, I myself could go on forever on that topic but not right here and not right now.
If you want to discuss politics, you can make a topic in the Off Topic section just about it.
Thank You, Admin
