I like your "fits like a glove" loading plan in the fuselage and what looks like a single rubber band for the wing mount.
Is the wing 1/4" sheet...?
I'm surprised that you are using spruce longerons..but I guess they save space compared to larger balsa pieces.
You've got a great looking field there but I see you have to share the sky once in a while too.

SIG airfoiled plank then the bottom sanded into a semi with washout at the tips.
1/8" sq stock 64th top bottom ply and 32nd sides as i recall. 2 fuel proof black rubber bands.
Big field for top speeds, yep full size planes depending on wind direction that day.
Thus far .05 car engine hit 164 mph, eats up the ground quick.
