Yes with a miniature pry bar at this point of the construction let's say that it becomes tight inside the space is limited but surprisingly the center of gravity is really at the front I have to place as much as possible at the front of the plane While I thought it would be the opposite that I would have to place the servo motors closer to the rear But this limits the possible locations for the RC components. But yes it fits but I had to make different attempts to find the right locationgetback wrote:I understand just suggesting , I am sure you will get it all in there may need a prybar LOL

I like those linear servos David I've been curious about those lately.. but I don't think it's possible to find one that's waterproof. Most of the bipes/tripes (conventional multi-winged) have forward centers of gravity... I think it's because of the amount of "mass" placed along the airframe's datum line. There's more "mass" concentrated at the wing-saddle. Depending on the multi-wing design; the addition of N-struts/bracing. This moves a LOT of CG forward.

Yes, the small servo is really light but we still have good strength with them for 3.7 v I wonder about this mabe with corrosion x I could make it water proof a little ...probably not for complete submersion prolong but could avoid breaking them Could definitely work again after immersing in water after drying them I wonder what acrobatic skills this little tiger will haveroddie wrote:I like those linear servos David I've been curious about those lately.. but I don't think it's possible to find one that's waterproof. I'm almost finished but I'm taking my time I have a little problem with the servos for the elerons because they are linear servos which are difficult to reverse the movement when I want to place it in reverse position I have the gears in the movement path of the rod And as I use two servos placed in y both have the same movement with one more channel available it would be possible To reverse one servo but only 4 channel on this receiver I wonder if I put on the wing on one side and an under the other side on the other Wing? I still have the throttle servo to install too.

Re: Found a posible rc plane for cox powered convertion
Good news from the construction of the tiger moth it's almost finished
I had difficulty getting everything in but with a few modifications I succeeded To insert the throttle control servomotor I had to move the gas tank off-center on one side
The final weight is exactly what I expected 60 grams Dry without gas ad To this 5 gram mabe 7 for the fuel I don't know exactly how much gas goes into the tank and how much more the plane will weigh.

WOW ! Good job on getting the servos installed , i am thinking this baby is going to scoot !! Are you going with clear coat now or already there ? Those servos are very small compared to the glow head on the engine .010 TD !
