Mustang lower rear fuselage
Hey All,
I’m looking for a Cox Mustang lower rear fuselage. Ideally I’d like to find a lower rear for a Miss America, but will be happy with whatever I can find. I can always paint it white! Please let me know what you have.
Thanks in advance!
Clint

Re: Mustang lower rear fuselage
Clint, I noticed by the lack of replies, that probably the part you are asking about is a harder to find replacement part. Best would be to keep eyes open on various ads through Internet site auctions, also post wants on Stunt Hangar, RC Groups, RC Universe and Hip Pocket Aeronautics, to see if someone has the part. I think Facebook also has for example, @Mark Boesen's group where you can inquire.
Who knows, may be someone has dibs on a parts airplane out there.

Re: Mustang lower rear fuselage
That is the earlier turtle deck P-51 (A or B). I had one in high school back in the late 1960's. His is the later bubble canopy version (D or E?). I don't know if Cox made any differences when they revised the top of the fuselage for the later model P-51. Cost wise, you'd think they'd keep it simple by keeping modifications minimal, but you never know.
I liked the classic look of the earlier one.

Yes the lower aft fuselage 7600-5 on the parts diagram. I believe they are the same or very similar for all models of Cox mustangs. But yes that is the mustang I’m looking for.
