Midwest Lil Snip build - Page 2 Empty Re: Midwest Lil Snip build

I'm kind of stalled out on the Lil Snip at the moment, Had a Goodwill cassette deck find and needed the work bench to get it fixed up. It's basically done now though.

On my way back from California as I started getting onto The Phoenix area I remembered the 2 fields the Arizona U-Control club uses were just off the freeway I was on and I remembered the turnoff. I saw a big field off the 10 with those real tall night lights for events. I turned off and found the park, it's big with several soccer fields, a water play area for kids with water fountains shooting wp from the rubbery walking surface, bathrooms, the whole 9 yards. I didn't see or here any planes but it was 10:30 by then and if they were there they might be done by 10:30 as it gets hot. It's Friendship Park I believe. That one was listed on there site as 1 of 2 parks they use. The other is on the south side of 10 in about the same general area, They might have been flying over there what with several soccer games going on that Sunday in the Friendship Park. I was too tired to look for the other park after driving back from Yuma.

Anyway, I know where they fly basically.
