how do I go back to beginning?
I want to go back to see and perhaps copy my posts since joining in aug 2011
currently I can only go back to early 2018
I get it that old stuff gets archived....I want to search the archives

Fred, It may depend on what forum thread you’re looking for. I can find some back dated to 2011.
From the “Home” page, select a “topic” , scroll down to bottom of first page, select the highest page number like 17 and see what pops up.
Or do a “search” for a common word like “golden” or “cleaning “ some of the results will go back quite a ways.
Hope your getting better! Must be, doing research for fun?

Re: how do I go back to beginning?
Yeah, it appears to only search back about a year. I know it used to search all the way back... I'll have to look into this.
There is a rather new feature (must've appeared within the last year or two), in your profile, if you scroll down to the bottom there is a feature "export your data". I'm currently testing this feature on a "test account" to see exactly what it exports. My guess is it exports all your posts and profile info, into maybe a spreadsheet or a large .txt file... They claim it can take a couple days if you have a lot of data.
As for now, Google can search the public forums and should turn up earlier stuff. https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&as_q=&as_oq=fredvon4&as_sitesearch=www.coxengineforum.com

Re: how do I go back to beginning?
Jacob f you look up at Levent's screen shot...I used to do this--- click on all posts, or topics and get 67 to 73 pages all the way back to my joined date and first post....now it only sends be back 6 pages to July 2018
The general Google search is not very useful...for what I was looking for
lots of forums archive based on some age....no all, but some, let me search in the archive

Re: how do I go back to beginning?
in this case I wrote a long childhood story in the wrong topic....no key words bring it up....topic by topic search hurts my head
me helping dad fly his first plane....then me on a boat to taiwan and cox engine over the side
still sicky boy and one handed typing...get frustrated pretty fast....especially for things I used to do easy on this forum

Re: how do I go back to beginning?
Levent...your browser or cef settings must be different from mine.....I click show all topics and get 296 results in 6 pages only back to july 2018
you get 4 (I assume very long pages) back to the 2011 beginning...I used to get that same result....maybe google chrome thinks it is saving me from myself....
no need to download that post...I was just looking to refresh a memory
