Wonderful pictures Lieven. I can see Red Buttons in the film "The Longest Day" hanging there with the Church bells ringing.

The beginning of the end of Hitler's Evil.
Thank You, Sir for posting these pics. I for one think we need to emphasize this to our youngsters.
I fear we are on the verge of world conflagration, again. I looked at my wife on the 24 of February, 2022 and said, "This is the beginning of World War III." I hope every morning that I will read SOMETHING to dissuade me from that belief. I have NOT found it. NOTHING! Putin is a madman, a megalomaniac that wants be the new Tsar.
I understand that Israel MUST win every war to stay alive as a nation. But, their current ruthlessness is turning world opinion against them. ANY escalation there will align the rest of the world along sharply drawn lines.
Is our world mature enough, interconnected enough, and/or strong enough to stop the insanity?

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”
And it's variations.
I would agree with you but for many it began on 20 January 2021.

Heartly agreed! What a disaster for this country.
