Wen-Mac Mark II Cylinder Head & Go Cart parts
I picked up a rough Wen-Mac Go Cart.....a project to keep me out of trouble.
The 049 MKII engine is missing the upper part of the cylinder (head and plug). Anyone have a spare they would part with?
If anyone has any pieces and parts for the Go Cart please let me know as well.
Thanks,
Darron

Yup, you definitely got a Rare one. Never saw one before, then someone over on 049 collector s showed one he recently purchased. Rather cool looking. Here’s a picture of one from Worthpoint.
Your best bet for obtaining the parts you need is to buy a Parts engine, and take the parts you need off of it. Although there is someone on e bay that every so often pops up with lots of wen mac/ Testors parts.
Here’s a cheap one:

Just looked at the eBay pictures and probably is worth the money, but why use pliers to loosen the head when there's this beautiful big slot cut across the top of it for the very purpose.
Bottom end stuff, I have plenty. Top end not so, sorry. You already got some of my Wen Mac bits

Yep. Had a look through my Wen Mac/Testors/McCoy spares. A couple of. MkII cases, A couple of MkXIII cases, a few cranks, heaps of pistons, backplates, but only later cylinders that take the glow head. One early cylinder but it's all out of shape and would never take a piston. No cylinder muffs/heads.
I also have a distinct lack of spray bars & needles.
Sorry

There’s that old saying:
“When your only tool is a hammer, Everything looks like a nail!”
This guys only tool was a pair of pliers!
