My friend, I built many models from scratch, that is, from the plain, cutting wood by wood, but you need to be inspired and excited, the best thing at this moment is as you say, carefully keep these parts intact and when the enthusiasm starts from new! ... it will be time to start I'll miss my extra, a wonderful model!

Such a beautiful airplane gone way to early.

Thanks for valuing my work Bob, you are very kind to me.
I always make my planes, big and small, this Extra was an ARF, so just assemble and modify it to make it shine.
I will gather enthusiasm again and at some point I will begin again, the priorities of life in my country and the situation make one not have the best spirit, but they will return ... Meanwhile I enjoy my Cox! This friendship, it is very good to know that everyone is there!
I also want to let you know that I am sorry for everything that is happening in a sector of your country, for DORIAN's tornado ... I follow the news, and I hope it is well. I regret in the soul that you have to live this so hard. Hugs from here!

Well dear friends !, I still have my heart hurt after the loss of my Stylo model, I really love these things and even more with the love that I put in my work, but but ... here I go with my Yak 55 EP of Great Plans and my heart is distracted a bit .... here I share with you the custom-made pieces, to fit and turn it into a GP that is from Electric Power to Glow Power ... I'm still working ...

Re: O.S. 56 Alfa 4T RC
Great flight and video Mauricio!
When I modified my electric Denight 50 I erroneously reduced the engine offset angle and the plane tended to turn left after take-off. I have repaired it since then and the OS FS 56 alpha now flies it with the same authority as yours.
In the last part of your vid after landing you have run the engine full throttle for a short time and I heard as if the engine had not revved up to around 10.5k which is the peak of my engine with a 12x6 APC prop...maybe your Master Airscrew is 13x6"?...is it not running a bit lean?. I turn the needle valve out by about 1.75 turn to make sure the fuel-air mixture is not lean.
Do you have some castor in the fuel? I run mine with the same 20% castor fuel as my COX engines...the OS has a much higher compression ratio than the COX and burns it at so high temp that the exhaust gases bring a lot of black castor soot in it. Also, the valves get stuck in castor goo if the engine sits long without running..but I still prefer castor to synt..
Happy flying friend!

Thank you very much András, I'm glad to know that you like how the model flies!
Yes !, you have to take time to measure and calvulate the F1 or parallamas, something that the engine is properly at the right angles for linear flight without trends.
I have manufactured the fitting pieces carefully, in order to minimize any deviation!
Regarding the engine, I have placed there in the video a 12x6 inch Master propeller, I am using 10% nitro Byron fuel, in its composition it has Synthetic and Ricin.
I still cannot find the exact point of optimal engine operation, it has a certain irregularity during the flight, I am assuming two things, the engine is very new and I must also adjust the needles as I get to know it.
The level of the fuel tank with respect to the carburetor has been slightly above, so I must check if that really affects it or it is simply a needle adjustment as I recently commented. I will continue with the progress and flights and keep you informed .... thanks again dear friend!

Re: O.S. 56 Alfa 4T RC
Okay, I made the rpm measurement with these two blades:
Master 12 x 6: High 9500 rpm - Low: 2300/2400 rpm
Master 13 x 6 S-2: High 10050 - Low: 2300/2400 rpm
then, I deduce that, due to the shape of the blade, it is much easier for the engine to move the 13 x 6 and as for the acceleration, it logically accelerates faster from low to high than with the 12 x 6 propeller.
Keep in mind then that there is no report error, I repeat, what is making the 12 x 6, have less reaction and less rpm than the 13 x 6, is undoubtedly the shape of the shovel.
I should measure, what drag power in kilos the engine can give with one or another propeller, but here it started to rain, so I leave it for another time ....

Re: O.S. 56 Alfa 4T RC
That don't make a lot of sense other than the fact it is a four stroke and likes tourk that manual states either can bee used but depends on application . https://www.manualslib.com/manual/645578/O-S-Engine-Fs-56a.html?page=6#manual And the props weight and spec,s https://www.masterairscrew.com/products/k-series-12x6-propeller .... https://www.masterairscrew.com/collections/scimitar-series/products/scimitar-13x6-propeller But for the differance of only 500 rpms i would go with what make you and the engine happy

Re: O.S. 56 Alfa 4T RC
I have always used APC 12x6 on this engine and it has a bit narrower chord than the Master Airscrew so it revs up to 10.5k max with 20% nitro.
