Early Prop Rod Id Help
New to the forum,I am restoring an early Prop Rod with the aluminum chassis but can't seem to determine the year of manufacture and not able to post a picture. It is all red with a red engine pod and has a chrome strip down the middle of the hood.It belonged to my wife's uncle and I'm sure is late 50's early 60's but i would like to determine the exact year if possible. Thanks for any input

Re: Early Prop Rod Id Help
The first issue Rod had Space Bug Jr. engine, somewhere around 1960 went to Baby Bees. The early alum. pans were smooth bottom and before they went to plastic the alum. pans had ridges front to rear on the bottom.
years unknown.
Space Bug Jr., the tank matched the pod color, Bees had alum. tank
