Re: Micro Ringmaster Plans
You are awesome Roger. I guess I should get one of each, unless you have more demand than kits. I have several RM's built and ready to fly and I paint them all in the same paint scheme and color. Let me know how much, shipped to 98579 and how you want paid. I'll build these with the bipe you cut me, all at the same time. I like to fly the RM. flyathon every year. I have the beginner, baby, junior, and S-1 built now. With the addition of the micros, it's time to start collecting the bipes of the same size. It's cool when they are all lined up.

Re: Micro Ringmaster Plans
Roger, I don't want you to feel like you're getting piled on, but if you could cut me a micro stunt kit, I'll buy one from you. I'll be needing it for the Traveling Engine.
Thanks,
Rusty
Thanks,
Rusty

Re: Micro Ringmaster Plans
Sounds like I need to try and cut a bunch of stunt wing micros!
I wil try and start with 6 stunt kits and see where it goes material and demand wise.
Ron, let me get the first run out of the way and I will see what I can do. Do you have plans for the shark?
Duke... I'm pretty sure I have seen a couple micro bi plane plans but may have been .020 based

Wow, the stunt has a pretty good sized wing on it. That's cool, maybe I can put a Big Mig on it later

Re: Micro Ringmaster Plans
Dude I know all about it. Hope things are getting better on your end. I have still not finished the scout and everything I broke last time we were out the end of July last year. Just gotta make time! I think you could shorten the stunt wing but it was cut from an existing plan. I have 6 stunt wing kits cut along with 4 plank wing kits. Please pm me if you are wanting a kit. I will do my best to get them packed up and ready to ship early next week.getback wrote:Looking good Roger , That is a pretty long wing , I have got to get building darn life stuff keeps getting in the way and engines to clean take up a fare amount too , and now there's a fire pit in my field with a picnic table for a camp out or some kind of get together for some FUN after that it has got to GOOOO !! getback

Re: Micro Ringmaster Plans
Well it looks like the first six stunt wings are sold. I still have three plank wing micros.
I hope to cut a few more kits once my balsa order arrives. If anyone else is interested please let me know so I know how many kits to cut.

They are probably out there. I have done a vid of a foam ring with a .010. The CL stuff doesn't go at near the speed as your ships do.

Re: Micro Ringmaster Plans
Greenie for Ron, I have seen this vid rare posting for micro CL.
Your engine was doing 23,400 to 24,800 as and average, I imagine you had it rich to
keep a relaxed flight style, proportioned to size, well done!
Did you use the stock tank or tin tank to the side or bladder?
What was your line length?
Some ultra light 1Lb .001 line should work well for wing overs and loops.
MODEL # NF1501-22

Re: Micro Ringmaster Plans
Line length was around 15-17' with a 1/6 oz perfect tank I think. RPM was way down I agree. That little plane was sitting up for a good year before I fueled and fired. It was running poorly. It was good enough, I only slung it around to raise interest in the TE.
Thanks for the greenie. And thank you for commenting on my little attempt. Means a lot coming from a guy that can bring serious performance from these tiny engines.
Ron
