Sure, no problem. We are expecting the pallets to finally be delivered today but it will take us days to catalogue it all and get the "reserved" products.
Also, pricing is subject to what else is in the box, although we could certainly sell only the box by itself.
Can you please send us your email address to support@coxengines.com
Thanks
Re: HUGE lot of Cox items for sale!
Thank you, if the box has a model in it all the better! What a great find!!

Re: HUGE lot of Cox items for sale!
Yeah, the box contained a complete airplane without the engine
Besides the Cox stuff, we got several 1,000 packages of Dave Brown, Goldberg, Du Bro, Sig, etc. Spinners up to 3", fuel tanks to 24oz, wheels up to 5 1/2", wooden props up to 22", pilot figures, many OS Max engine parts and a gazillion various building parts. This will take us forever to catalogue but the non-Cox stuff will be offered like for 1/2 price or less just to get rid of it but will be a project after the Cox stuff.

Bernie: So when can I come. I love the cold weather and can't wait to get out of here after all this rehab. After sept. 2nd I should be cleared to drive again. I am climbing the stairs 1 foot to each step after about 5 years of dragging myself up to the 2nd story 1/2 step at a time.

No idea what is required for a generator, sorry but there are a few complete car engines; but none of the recoil-starter variety.

flywheels and shaft couplers are the 2 engine parts that are needed for cox generators (and heatsinks and smal fans)Cox International wrote:No idea what is required for a generator, sorry but there are a few complete car engines; but none of the recoil-starter variety.

I could pay a little more.

Re: HUGE lot of Cox items for sale!
Sorry about that Jose but, when we initially posted the list, we took "reservations" and we honoured them in the order they were received and there were more reservations than product.
BTW, the non-RC 020 cylinder / pistons were $19.95 and the RC versions were $29.95 (the $20 was essentially a "placeholder" for supplier-related calculation until we received the merchandise and could ascertain if they were indeed the throttle-ring version).

Pee wee R/C
Ok Bernne, I´ve some PW´s with poor compression but I just looking fint R/C rings, You could order the manufacture of some as .049´s
Re: HUGE lot of Cox items for sale!
You can't simply fit the ring onto a Pee Wee unless it's a Pee Wee RC cylinder, as the cylinder is ground to accommodate the ring. At least that is our understanding.
The reason why we would not manufacture any is that we have to take at least 500 to get a good price. 049 parts outsell 020 by a margin of about 10 to 1. We had 1,000 of the 049 throttle rings made about 5 years ago and are still sitting on 1/2 of them. Doing the math it would mean that 500 of the Pee Wee ones would probably take 50 years to sell

what is the O.D. of the .010 or .020 cylinder? I did some work with aluminum and brass tubing and came very close to making my own RC throttle for the .049.
Can someone get me the numbers please since I no longer have any .020 cylinders and never had any .010 parts.

If you don't have the answers in the morning, send me an email to support@coxengines.com and I'll dig up the two drawings at the office and shall send them to you (I'm presently logged in from home).
.010 or .020

Bernie: it doesn't matter to me whether the dimensions are for the normal cylinder or the ground or RC cylinder. Aluminum or brass stock is only available in certain inside diameters and the local shop may or may not have that size close enough to fit. With the .049 homemade muffler-RC throttle I was within about .005-.010 inches. I think it would have leaked. I actually sent several new cylinders to a friend in New Zealand and he had access to a lathe and he trimmed-ground several cylinders for me to custom fit several sleeves I had accumulated over the years. I look forward to the challenge as soon as I am able to drive. I see my surgeon on Wednesday for final clearance. I need this clearance to teach at the local senior center on Thursday and Friday.

Re: HUGE lot of Cox items for sale!
I don't have the dimensions. Tubing can be split and tightened. The example I linked uses flat sheet that is formed, not tubing. I think there is an excess number of nuts employed in the system as illustrated.

Re: HUGE lot of Cox items for sale!
Over the years the TD .010 has had 3 different cylinder OD diameters. I had a post sometime in the past that detailed the exact measurements but can't seem to find it.
