Cox Collection for Sale II - Many items, bids in thread please
Due to a shift in interests i will be selling my collection of Cox engines. There are several "hard to find" engines among them. I do want to sell on ebay, due to difficulties with shipping/listing as i live in Denmark (i am unable to list to correct shipping price on ebay and also hate the thought of paying ebay a fee of the shipping price).
Because of this i would like to try something a little different, I would like to run these listings as an auction with a minimum price and a fixed ending date/time.
There is another twist on this. Monday August 22th i will be going to Jacksonville, Florida (USA), and will be staying there for a couple of months, so these auction will end well in advance of this, but if there is any "winners" from the US, i can bring them with me and ship them from there. This would keep the shipping price down. Just allow me a couple of days to settle when i get there. I that case payment can wait untill i am ready to ship.
This also means that all sales are final and everything is sold "as is", bid accordingly!!
Cox Tee Dee .15 (#15)

Auction ends Friday August 19th at 23:59 Eastern Std. Time

Re: Cox Collection for Sale II - Many items, bids in thread please
Ummm... Seems like these are Medallion .15's with the piston/cylinders from a Special .15 (#18) and a Special .15 Mk. II (#19). Since the Special had inlet timing adjusted to match the changed bore and stroke of the Special, a Medallion crank might provide less than optimal timing? Or maybe it's a .15 Special with a Medallion .15 plastic venturi body installed instead of the TD venturi body? The Special Mk. II is definitely a P/C transplant, since the original Mk. II's came with a gold anodized body. And since the MK. II's were also timed so the exhaust port always faced left, the timing might be off on that one as well?
Not knocking the engines, just pointing out a couple of thoughts.

NIB Tee Dee .09 #28
Due to a shift in interests i will be selling my collection of Cox engines. There are several "hard to find" engines among them. I do not want to sell on ebay, due to difficulties with shipping/listing as i live in Denmark (i am unable to list the correct shipping price on ebay (Royal Danish Post is not an option in the menu) and also hate the thought of paying ebay a fee of the shipping price).
Tee Dee .09 NIB (new in bags) (#28) This you will probally not see again, ever!
Minimum price $100
Auction ends Friday August 19th at 23:59 Eastern Std. Time
I have Paypal

Hi, good to see your collection!
I take the audacity if it is your will, you could put a photo of blister cardboard without plastic bubble Sportsman .15. I have the engine that I found on the net but do not possess the blister. I would print it and place it next to the engine I have, only more complete view.
Thank you. Mauricio.-

Re: Cox Collection for Sale II - Many items, bids in thread please
Due to request, i will recap the rules:
You place a bid on the item (#) you want. You will have to bid above the minimum price or current highest bid.
Bids shall be placed in this tread, so everybody can see what the highest bid is.
Do not bid if you do not have the money.
It is very simple and let us keep it that way.
