HUGE lot of Cox items for sale!
We are currently processing the purchase of a 4' x 4' x 8' pallet of Cox items. A list of the items can be found here:
http://coxengines.ca/files/Coxlot.pdf whereas some items we have not been able to identify so far.
There are many multiples and, if anyone is interested in anything, please advise to support@coxengines.com
Retail pricing is an indication only for our internal evaluation purposes and may change once we have inspected the individual items and have done further research re. fair market value

2 Questions on .020 engine items
You have two Pee Wee piston/cylinder line items, one marked RC. Does the RC one come with a exhaust restrictor throttle? If so, is it really priced the same as the other non-RC piston/cylinder unit?
Then, is the TD 020 piston cylinder interchangeable with the Pee Wee? Is it possible to hop up a Pee Wee in this way, similar to the .049's?

No idea until we actually see the item. However, if the throttle ring is attached (as we suspect it is), then the price would be higher. What happened is that we initially assumed it was the regular version, inputted a price on the spreadsheet, and later forgot to change the price when we researched the part #.
It is our understanding that Pee Wee and Tee Dee C/P sets were identical, especially in later years.

Re: HUGE lot of Cox items for sale!
Just a small disclaimer for those of you that have reserved parts or will be reserving parts.
Theresa maintains a "wish-list" of items that have been requested from us over time. Once the pallet of Cox items arrives and we can physically inspect what we have received, she will go through her list and offer requested parts in the order of the requests received.
Although it is our experience that the majority of the requests are not followed through, there is a chance that, for some or all of the parts that we have you noted for, they may not be available because of this. We did not "clean" the list of prior requests as the majority are usually not acted upon once the part becomes available.

With the amount of time that passed I take it a deal could not be made with the seller?

Re: HUGE lot of Cox items for sale!
The seller "resurfaced" last week and we couriered him a bank draft this Monday. We are expecting the merchandise to arrive here coming Monday but it will take a few days to sort and catalogue.
Apparently he found many more boxes of Cox items and also over 1,000 packets of non-Cox stuff and we are now up to two pallets of 4'x4'x8'. There should be enough parts to build many complete airplanes from the 70's. Seeing that we have the matching engines ... We have our work cut out for us

Man, I would love to be able to assemble up a heap of "new" Cox aeroplanes to get back out in the market place. That would be really satisfying.

No idea at this point, sorry. Will have to see what we get and then look to eBay for market pricing.

Bernie: all seriousness aside, if you find any Cox Medallion .049 needles can you set some aside for Ron C and I if they are not too expensive. I don't know the Cox part number. Thanks for Ron C. and I.
Bernie: The Cox part number for Cox .049 medallion needle is 2309 as seen on ebay.

Re: HUGE lot of Cox items for sale!
It seems there are 3 in the lot under part # 2923890; which is needle spraybar and clip. However, they were previously spoken for, sorry.
By the same token, did you know that these needles is a perfect fit?
http://coxengines.ca/cox-.049-needle-valve-killer-bee.html
http://coxengines.ca/cox-.049-needle-valve-brass-short.html
http://coxengines.ca/cox-.049-needle-valve-brass-long.html
For collector purposes, they may not look like the original but, if it's get an engine running, they should work great.

Thanks Bernie. Maybe that's where the strange short Medallion? in my picture above of all the needles came from. Also I will checkout the others you mentioned.
