The CEF speed contest requires a .049/.051 engine.. But... Tee Dee's are now allowed.. and will be a separate class! In general; shorter lines.. no L/G requirements.. Re-read the rules if you're even thinking about participating. Many changes for the better IMHO

Re: What have I done?????
Yup, the prop is different, but the engine. Is it a production engine as shown with the copper tank and anodized head/cylinder or is it a made up engine? I have to get that model engine book. Nothing google shows up on this particular engine, but there is some good stuff about W/M there.
I have no excuse on this one Eric, no turkey wild or otherwise was involved. Pure impulse.

There's a picture of an identical engine, including prop & copper tank, on Mark's 049 Collectors site.
Mark may like to chime in here. The plot thickens!!

Re: What have I done?????
This was a tank Wen-Mac offered on there very first model, they're pretty rare! I was actually following the eBay sale, but too cheep to make an offer as all i really wanted/needed was the tank.
I just went back to look and it doesn't look like its the same engine. I'm not 100% sure but I think those props were purchased that way. The thought was that a single blade would be able to cut into clean air resulting in more efficiency of the prop (this was also used on 1:1 racing planes) i can only guess it was hard to balance?
