Mine has the throttle control, I don't know if you have that one. Thanks for the help.

Well, It looks like I have bought a little more work to do. Heck, it came with a box and accessories.
Someone sniped it in the last few seconds, cost me more $$$, but all's fair in the bidding wars. Maybe something like Mark's paint job is in order here. Maybe Skyraider blue like his F4U......
Rsv1cox, your first one although slightly color aged from the original still looks really good, agree, it doesn't need paint, still retains its character. It's like antique furniture that still has its original paint, truly an art form to behold. Do you think your second one, in spite of the spots caused by what looks like paint residues, will clean up sufficiently without painting?

Re: Dishwasher. Crazy idea?
shiada, not sure if you mean throttle control linkage or elevator control linkage. Mine does not have the throttle control, but I would like to see a picture of your's. The elevator control is always a bugga-boo for me. I quickly forget how they go, over/under, right side left side, about four/eight options and first try I usually get it wrong. I need to take pictures before I disassemble.
And GG, yes, the aged Skyraider finish actually looks pretty good. I would have tried the fixes, but will save those for the basket case coming. In case it doesn't work I bought a can of Kryon dark blue spray for plastics. Looks really close to the shade that is on the F4U and others. I just hope that the finish isn't bubbled. It should be here today......
Love this bent prop picture, must have bellied in somewhere in Nam.
