Google earth, your flying fields
Just for kicks I thought this would be a neat way for us to see where each other flys at, or your home, or where you work, or whatever suits your fancy.
So here we go.
Herren Field, Toledo,WA, Buckley road
46.282075, -122.484988 (copy paste either coordinates or title, into the "fly to" box in google earth)
With Flightaware.com the municipal airport next to Herren Field is listed as KTDO, enter it into the airport/tracker info box on the lower left side. 2 bladed props to Kim for the link, it's neat stuff. you can watch your friends flight and monitor progress, ect
http://flightaware.com/
Sometimes with google earth the coordinates don't line up to your specific spot, so go with a street name, or address or whatever gets us close.

Here you go, Model Flying Fields around Australia.
Click on each site and it will show a ground pic and a an associated web site link. Plus most streets in Australia have Google Street level view.

Here you go - I do not fly here often as it is 45 minutes away.

The old couple who owned the field was forced to sell the land through eminent domain. The land is now a wind farm. They now have it completely surrounded with 10 foot chain-link fences with barbwire on top...
