Earth to Rusty

With the new forum layout, when I select 'Quote' in order to reply to a previous post, the quote box appears with the poster's name and comments. Previously, I might remove some of the post and leave what I wished to comment on. Now, I can still edit the quote, but cannot get the cursor out of the quote box.
Suggestions or a pointer to a FAQ that will help an old man would be appreciated.

Re: Earth to Rusty
I've just noticed that too, wondering if it may be my software.
What computer software and browser are you using, Andrew?

Re: Earth to Rusty
I got out of it by selecting the editor - far right on the icons - then you can see where the slash quote thing is.

That worked --- thanks, Ian.

Apparently, when they tweaked the interface, the editing defaults got changed. I'm running Win 7 Enterprise and both IE10, Chrome and Firefox were behaving the same, so I assumed it was the forum change, but didn't know where defaults were set.
Re: Earth to Rusty
I'll have to make a bunch of new tutorials. I already complained about the new editor to the forum host.
Click this to switch between WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) mode and the plain old editor. That WYSIWYG mode is nothing new, I could have had that enabled a long time ago. I see I no longer have the option to turn it off in the admin panel.

I wish, but no, if I recall correctly, that baby sold for a thousand bucks on the Bay a few months back.
