Looking at the photo, I guess you're looking
for the "pink or champagne" one. Tough one.
Wish I could help.

Re: WANTED old Golden Bee gooseneck crankcase
The first ones made had a pinkish hue to them and had a bright backplate with narrow intake and no Cox on the back. It's possible it could have come with a 3 piece piston on the first run of them.

Re: WANTED old Golden Bee gooseneck crankcase
I do believe it to be a very early Golden Bee, when I got it you could see screw marks from mounting but when I broke it down it had never been fueled.
Also found a 3 piece piston. I cleaned it up and ran it, it ran great. A nice steady 14K for a long run. Starting was another story, it keep starting backward till I started flipping the prop backward then I ran forward.

Re: WANTED old Golden Bee gooseneck crankcase
Doug,
I did not notice the video first time around. Nice runner, looks to be set up real well too.
I have one identical to yours, I quick cleaned it and ran it one time and it's sat ever since. One of these days I am going to go through it properly.
I have a couple bees that love to run backwards. Bumping them off compression usually works, but sometimes they want to be a pain!

Re: WANTED old Golden Bee gooseneck crankcase
I too have one of these golden beauties. 3-piece piston too. Haven't gotten around to running it yet.
I don't have a spare crankcase but I'll keep an eye out for one. I see them in parts lots from time to time.

Nice Jason,
The early ones have a real artistic flair to them.

Do you have the spinner for it?

MECOA was selling those spinners at one time.

I was planning to clean them up and sell them again, but that was 3 months ago and I haven't' made much progress. I guess I could part one out. What all do you need?
Not an eBay store, just a page. Occasionally I'll have hobby related items listed there.

Found this. Little pricey, but a clean engine.

Not the worst considering it has a 3 fin high compression head on it. Very nice condition on the engine also.

I was looking for a nice crankcase with no scratches but if you got a nice crankcase I'll buy the whole engine just the way it sits

Re: WANTED old Golden Bee gooseneck crankcase
The crankcase anodizing looks near perfect to me. Both drive plates and tanks have small marks on them. I'll try to get both put back together. Both cylinders need to come off to be cleaned.
