Yeah wheres the pics?
Travelling Engine in Columbia
I took the engine down to the Three Rivers Greenway on the Congaree River. In the background is the Gervais St. Bridge.
Tomorrow it will be sent to Chris. Any special procedures other than securing a tracking number?
Thanks guys

Re: Follow The Traveling Engine!
Ah relaxing on the beautiful banks of the Congaree River. My Grandfather Walker Raleigh Turbeville was a civil engineer with the South Carolina Highway department and designed the original lighting on that bridge. It's good to see the Tee Dee taking some R&R time after the traumatic exhibition I subjected it to. There are some 40 pound Striped Bass in that river. Some come all the way from the ocean every year. A few somewhat smaller ones have ended up on my dinner table.
Thanks Matt.
Rusty

Re: Follow The Traveling Engine!
Just an update. I've been really busy but I've cleared my weekend to run the engine this weekend and get it sent on. Sorry for the delay. It's doesn't help that it's been so hot and humid.

Re: Follow The Traveling Engine!
Alright. The time has come. Time to send her onto the next in line. It's been a joy having and engine that will surely go down in the Cox history books in my possession. Here's some of the fun.
Had to get the family together for a photo.
A little closer.
And the close up.
What's this?...Something's off.
Or on I should say! I may have find a new hood ornament!
I've got some videos to come. The engine will be sent out tomorrow to the next destination!

top that! well I will TRY
Friday 15 Aug
TE has arrived and I have my work cut out trying to "one up" all the previous photos and exploits of the CEF Traveling Engine
Plan this week end is to set it on the nose of a Jeff Dawson version of the Lite Hawk and get a few laps and photos. Then see how creative I can be in a very mundane rural county with uninspiring history... I should be able to forward this jewel to next in line by mid week 20th or 21st Aug
CEF is a awesome forum and Jacob and the moderators do a super job
Get ready Ron Cribbs, I think I have you address here but shoot me a PM anyway to be sure it heads your way correctly

Re: Follow The Traveling Engine!
Received the TE today. I am headed out of town for a month, but I am bringing it with me to keep it moving. It's gonna get run ragged on something.
