Cox flight contest time log (Winners announced and prize pics)
This thread is dedicated to posting the monthly flight times of the contestants. If possible could a moderator please post this as a sticky for the duration of the event?
I would ask that this thread to please have limited off topic replies although, banter, kudos and polite "trash talk" related to the contest is encouraged. I will be posting all the times I receive in this thread on the 1st or around the first of each month. Hope you guys are flying!!!!!
Ron

I have a grand total of 12 minutes as of last weekend. Not doing to well here in the northeast. It keeps raining. I truly believe there may be a connection with planes and storm clouds. I certainly hope that things change in the next few weeks. Ken

Good stuff guys, looks like you are all off to a good start. Ian don't worry there is 11 months to go.
As for myself......Control Line 1 hour 2 minutes and 13 seconds. Not counting the 20 seconds the other day when I crashed the Bean:lol!:

Re: Cox flight contest time log (Winners announced and prize pics)
Hey Guys.
I began flying for the contest on the first day that we were eligible to record official times. I decided to fly the "STIK" plane, as it is easy enough to fly, and handles the wind okay. I might move the engine to the Baby Birdie, as it is a nice flying plane, too. I used the "count-up" timer of the transmitter to keep the time while flying; that's a nice feature to have available. I logged every flight, and here is a picture of this month's time.I was suprised to see that I actually flew for that long! That is a lot of standing in one place! The total is: 3 hours, 17 minutes, 54 seconds. Onward to month two!

3 hours and 18 minutes?!?
I'm only at 37 minutes. I guess I'll have to pick up the pace.

LOL Mark, that's why I am posting the times each month. so we can see how much we have to fly to win. I am not competing for a prize though so don't worry about me.

Nah, I love to fly. It's like crack cocaine. My heart pumps and my senses sharpen. Every successful landing is a little victory.
There are real prizes though.

I'm keeping the batteries charged! Hey, if I get too far ahead (smack-talk) I'll enter a different engine in the C/L category, and build some time there, when it isn't windy. How's that grab ya?

Yep, I got ya on that, Ron! The guys know when I come out to the field, they're gonna get an earful of COX! Drum roll...19 flights - 3 hours, 59 minutes, 5 seconds. I'll shoot a picture of my log sheet, soon.
Oh, this was R/C, so it really is apples to oranges. But, 2-1/2 hrs in circles? A guy could get dizzy, then! You're doing good!

Is that 2 hours 23 minutes? If it's 2 minutes 23 seconds, I might have you beat.
I had a bad July for cox airplanes. I'll try to remember to post my time tonight. Are you going to have running totals on this sticky?
