Flying videos needed for a TV show

Flying videos needed for a TV show
On Friday the local TV crew will be here to film a short story of Cox International.
They wanted to film a segment with me flying, not realizing that this would entail hours of preparation, even if the weather complied.
We settled on sourcing existing footage.
Therefore, if anyone has links to videos of someone flying a Cox airpalne or an airplane with a Cox engine, RC or CL, that is of decent quality, pleasd send or post the links for usto choose from.
They don't have to be your own videos.

Nice one, thanks, and they probably have the means to digitally zoom in the flight.
Re: Flying videos needed for a TV show
This is cool! Be sure to set up your VCR to record that news segment! Hopefully the news channel will post the segment on their site! Keep us posted!

Hey Bernie,
Don't know if these would work, but you're certainly welcome to use them if so.

Apparently it will be available on-line and, if and when, I will post the link.
Re: Flying videos needed for a TV show
Kim,
Everything that is posted here on Friday morning I will show to the TV people and they can choose what they like.
Thanks for the contribution.

Re: Flying videos needed for a TV show
Looking through all of my videos, most are patchwork medleys with bad camera work and me talking too much. The 1/2A planes are hard enough to see anyway. If you can get anything useful from these, I hope they help.

Re: Flying videos needed for a TV show
Here you go Bernie poss this vid answers 2 of your needs....
This is the same plane as above, with almost all of one of your killer bee 2's (I tweaked the cylinder) up front.
Even though it weighs 26oz and has a wingspan of 55 inches it fly's reasonably ok even with a surestart up front.
It's a Multiplex Hummel (artf) and although an electric model it took an idiot (me) 15 mins with some ply and cyano to convert.
Sorry about the old iphone 3 vid....

No, no, ROFL because I find the idea intriguing.
I am so focused on "cox-only" that I sometimes lose sight of potential opportunities.
My biggest successes in business have always been with unconventional and "off-the-wall" ideas (Cox was one of them).
Do please honour me with more details and I promise to look into the possibility.

Oh,okay. I'll hunt down the guys that use these things and find out what they are using. I think it's mostly inexpensive stuff.Cox International wrote:No, no, ROFL because I find the idea intriguing.

Thanks Happydad,
On Friday I emailed them the link to this thread and they were going to edit the tape sometime between then and today. Not sure what, if anything, they clipped from this thread but as soon as it's on-line I will post a link.
