Thanks Roberto and Eric...yes, the idea is to be able to exchange engines and thus enjoy some of them that have been waiting for their turn for years haha...so it is so, that I will also try the Black Lynx on a model for the first time. 049, which I won a few years ago here on the forum...so, he will also be on the air!

Balsa over foam cores with rolled balsa tubes. Now that takes a lot of skill to accomplish. Lookiing great Mauricio.

Hello Mauricio
You are doing a great job of building your Citabria. I really like your step by step information and all your photos which are very instructional. You make it look easy but is not as easy as it seems. It takes dexterity and patience. I think you enjoy your modeling very much. Thanks for sharing your adventures in modeling with us.

rdw777 wrote:Excellent work on the wing Mauricio!!…. The round tubes for the spars are very strong and light!!!…. Plus a pathway for wiring
Here’s a tube I made for an ornithopter…. It is tapered and was formed on a fiberglass fishing rod…. Spiral wrapped tissue and dope to finish…. Light and strong….
Excellent work Roberto, I admire your neatness

You are a fine craftsman Mauricio. I like to see new builds here, they inspire me. I roll a lot of balsa tubes for my indoor duration models but the wood is thinner. Under .020 to.010".

Beautiful work Mauricio, at the first sight looks like a plastic model made in a mould!
How much do you think the all-up dry weight of the model will be?

Beautiful work Mauricio!!…. Every detail Attended too…. We are fortunate these days to have RC equipment that is light enough to allow full function for Cox powered models…. Relatively inexpensive as well compared to when we were kids….

Thank you so much dear Roberto, I always admire your works and of course, I am an admirer of your profession, which you carried forward a few years ago!
It is true, now it is easier, now there are elements like to develop complete models in radio control issue and the values, also are significantly much lower, but, there is something that, each previous generation value and much and this is more or minus the following:
Its quality of work.
Its way of presenting the jobs.
The seriousness with which they took every thing they did.
the dedication to detail.
Try again and again, often without resources.
You Roberto and a lot of yours, are people whom I respect value and admire. I always look at videos from other years, from the beginnings and I connect in a spiritual way, how beautiful all that passion expressed right there, at moments in life, really beautiful.
Today, for many, everything is disposable, even human values, but that is another topic, again, Thank you for being there, and for being my friend!.
