What can you tell me about these models?

Not much to add. Thimble Drome Champion tether cars made by Cox but fitted with a Cameron engine (original) of .09 capacity I believe. Others here will know way more than me.

Thank you for the reply! I was wondering about the engine size.

Apparently Cameron did a .15 size engine as well but it looks like they were a more traditional configuration. The engines you have are a fairly unique design.

Other than in need of a little TLC (tender loving care) clean up, your Cox Champion tether racer with Cameron engine is very well preserved, @rc_fun1 .

I am considering selling. What would be good to clean them up without ruining them? Just soapy water? Do not want to hurt the paint.

That I would prefer others to chime in. I have not restored any cars yet, and although I have my approach, without relating practical experience, would not want to lead you to do something that may result in more harm than good.rc_fun1 wrote:I am considering selling.
