C/L handles and a little help
Tucked away with my Wen Mac Dauntless were a couple of control line handles that caught my attention. One was a Cox Thimble drome handle that I had in my youth, the other a standard W/M.
Considering the Cox handle display case worthy, I cleaned it up. The other was an empty Cox starter box.
Thinking further I gathered up a few other handles that I had accumulated over the years to include them in the case. The Carl Goldberg was always a favorite and is still available on ebay for $3.00 BIN. The big red handle was always my choice to fly my larger planes but if IRC not a favorite of Kens.
Anyone know what brand this unmarked example is?
I would like to complete this box with the original Cox items that it came with. An ebay search turned up nothing. If anyone has spares they would like to sell or trade, please let me know. I have the wrenches.

Re: C/L handles and a little help
Thanks Rene, Testors. Makes sense, I have more than a couple of the airplanes.
And Eric, Roger Harris. I couldn't remember his name. It's tough being my memory, but somebody has to do it. Came with the Bipes that he made into kits. Has that little Bee image embossed on it. Keep the Bipe right here in my den room.
Still looking for the contents of that box. I have seen that rinky battery thing, might have even owned one sometime in the past. Wasn't impressed.

Well, isn't that Rinky battery holder ever neat. Well thought out with the screw making the negative contact. As for the handle, I would venture a guess that it is an older Testors one as I too after seeing it thought I may have seen one somewhere online before.

Yes, pretty simple. Wire shaped in a narrow U to house two D cells and a red plastic top. Pennys to produce. If I took an hour or so to go through all my stuff I probably would find it.
