Cox Spitfire W/Box SALE PENDING

Cox Spitfire W/Box SALE PENDING
Next offering is a nice Cox Spitfire with box and some paperwork. The airplane still has it's antennae, which is unusual, and there is the usual slight damage to the landing gear mounting area that I have repaired and the airplane sits on it's wheel nicely. The engine has been gone through and cleaned up and flips over nicely. as far as I can tell it's not missing anything and is pretty nice example of the type. The box is a 6 or so out of 10 but is a good representation of the great box art that Cox used in the 1960's. I have this all boxed up and ready to ship to a buyer who unfortunately could not complete the sale so it's ready to ship. I'm asking $175 plus actual shipping costs. I use Pirateship.com and can provide a quote to your zip code. Ask any questions you may have.
Thanks for looking,

I don't know of anyone at this time with any for sale. You just have to keep your eyes open on the various sites and be ready if something crosses your path.
Good luck!

Thanks!
I have a friend who is not doing well. He said that he would really like to have one. I am bound to find one for him. Thanks for your response!

Where are you located? That may help to know. These things sometimes seem to be concentrated in certain regions. I'll keep my eye open and ear to the ground. Sometimes they pop up in the darnedest places. eBay is the site with the most traffic, but also watch Facebook Market Place and the Cox forums on Facebook. Lots of people dislike Facebook, and in a way so do I, but all I use it for is for access to the hobby related pages.. If I see something I'll let you know.
Type at you later,
