What do you use for testing besides a tach? Maybe some sort of dyno or maybe so e way of measuring thrust.
Thanks for any info you can supply.

Re: Testing info
This red postage stamp backplate COX 049 reedie with turbo head pulls 350 grams on the scale. Enogh for an unlimited vertical rise for the Quickie 100 RC plane it powers, weighing only 290 grams.

Nice vid, i'm just wanting to do some bench testing on various moters and try various configurations. No flying at this time. I'll think about your thrust test.

Re: Testing info
Looks interesting, has anyone tried this on a nitro moter? I suppose modification similar to what was done by Fred to the Turnigy unit.
Thank you for pointing me in the direction.

Re: Testing info
Jim the master of cool home brew tether cars and the very well done Turnigy fuel proofing project is Davenz13 from New Zealand
to quote him above after I asked who did the cool Turnigy motor tester
"That was me Fred
I finally finished it last year, now just have to make time to try it out."
