1/2a rc planes
Hi, I am wondering if there is a rtf or arf plane that I can purchase and mount a .049 to. I haven’t flown in a few years so I’m hoping for a trainer type plane like a j3 cub or similar

Hi Mtm2018 and welcome to CEF!!!
You may want to try e.g. www.selecthobbies.com or https://willynillies.com/shop?olsPage=products%2Fglh-250 or ebay, where balsa kits are still sold and ship in compact boxes at lower cost than an ARF would. If your circumstances allow and you are determined to build your RC plane I would suggest you start with balsa kits of precut parts. Building and flying your plane is much more rewarding than flying one built by others and building it will give you the intimacy to learn about the strengths and weaknesses of the design early enough so that you get better prepared to flying it.
Good luck and keep posting on this unique forum of COX enthusiasts.
