Fox .40 Rat race engine
Hi Guys,
I am looking for a Fox .40 rat race engine with a square intake and a 4 bolt backplate.
I realize that this is a long shot, but you never know.

Yes, it could be gold, or it could be silver.

This one is on Ebay, not sure how much you want to spend or if you even do Ebay, but it’s an option.

Re: Fox .40 Rat race engine
I'm making a plaque with 12 Fox Sport, Racing , Combat and Speed engines mounted on it.
It will work well.
Thanks again!

Re: Fox .40 Rat race engine
De is a moderator on Stunthangar, he posts with regular frequency over there. Just a side note, the Fox .40 is interesting. I've come across a few and I've seen some installed in other cases. When I attend vintage combat, a few guys have these setups in their old combat wings. The Rat .40 utilized the same gold electroplating as the 1963 anniversary edition. This plating looks great when new but time and oxidation quickly makes it look bad especially when it peels. Fox made another .40 which is entirely different and almost NO parts interchanges with any of the others. I refer to this as the Aldrich .40 due to George Aldrich doing some rework for Fox to assist in selling them. Originally made for racing, it had all the makings but the engine really worked out better for stunt with George's help. This is a very wide Fox in fact it maybe the widest case engine I know of in a .40 case.
Here it is in a R/c version. http://sceptreflight.com/Model%20Engine%20Tests/Fox%2040%20RC.html These are very good engines. They run good, they don't wear out easy, somewhat of a Fox .35 on steroids.
