Ringmaster maiden flight

Ringmaster maiden flight
I'm embarrassed to admit that after joining the forum, and even building a few airplanes, I did not make a single flight all summer. Since one of my new planes is a Ringmaster, the Fly-a-thon seemed like the perfect opportunity to change that.
Here is the airplane, built from plans found on Outerzone, and powered with an Enya .35.
Here is yours truly, making my first CL flight in 40+ years, and my Ringmaster, making its first flight ever. The fuel tank is 2 oz., which seemed small when I put it on. Wrong. It's way too big. I was staggering by the time the Enya quit, but got it down in one piece. I made 3 flights in all, even looped it on the last one.

2oz isn’t nearly enough! 3-4oz will get you closer to doing the 8 min pattern. Just kidding of course, once you shake out the cobwebs you will probably want more. Great looking plane and congrats on ending a 40 year break!

Great looking Ringmaster.
What's your finish? Looks paint, but could be something like Monokote. Either way it is well done.
I like your engine selection too.

Paint and me just can't get along. We have agreed to disagree, and gone our separate ways. The airplane is covered with Monokote. I picked up the Enya used some time ago. Didn't even have a use for it at the time, but it was neat. It came with 2 heads, 3 venturis and a RC carb. Its just got to be the most versatile engine I've ever seen.

Such a nice job on that finish. You must have a good eye and a steady hand.
Enya too. My first "Big Boy" engine a .29 powering my Sterling Fledgling. Since that one I have added a few more.

Way to go, Duane! Was that loop flown on purpose, Lol? Either way, you get full credit for it.
