Bob, that “free case” turned out gorgeous, great way to display all your goodies. Now,
What ya gonna do with the pool table without the felt? New building board?

Beautiful! Great job with the veneer and varnish
I like the green felt too and Rene’s comment made me think about a pool table. What would be a more flat and level surface to build planes on? Pockets would be handy for beverages, paint brushes etc.
Wish I had room for something like that!

I think Rene was jazzing me about the pool table. Got the felt at Hobby Lobby, 72" @ nine bucks and change. I have used it in the past to cushion my gun racks.
We do have a pool table in the cabin down by the pond, makes a great place for the squirrels to play on and a receptacle for insects. But we do dust it off at Christmas, light a fire in the stove and the family plays a game or two or dozen.

Thanks Fred, but you give me way to much credit. I'm more of a measure it with a stick and cut it with an axe kind of guy.
I'm ok recreating someone else's stuff, but ask me to come up with something on my own and I'm a lost puppy.
