If you get the dimensions, you might be able to have some made or find some that are similar in size.

Travis:
I have one case now so I have the dimensions. Know local source that could fab them for me but would prefer OEM Cox logo as on the originals.
Sad so many Cox items we just "tossed" rather than "treasured".

Dave,
Nobody thought that Cox would fold and they were just consumeable engines when first produced. Who would have thought they would become collector items?
I too am at fault. When I purchased new engines I tossed the boxes as It was just packaging material to me. Never even crossed my mind to save the boxes.

I HAVE SOME! 12.99 each plus shipping the yellow and green are 17.99 ea.
Don't anyone say NAH NAH NAH 13 bux for a plastic box. Try to sell an engine alone and put it in a box and see if you get more than 30 or 40$ more.
buyer pays actual shipping and packaging cost same with international I am very shipping reasonable

I bought 2 TD 051 crystal boxes with the inserts and also had the instrictions in them for $10 each +shipping on RC Groups. I think the total cost was $25 for 2. One still has the cardboard sleeve that fits over the top of the crystal box. I put 2 like new 051's in them and they look nice.

Jason:
If you'd like to sell one of the TD .051 boxes I'd be interested. I'm looking for the "jewel case" original type to match my TD .049 with "jewel case" box. They'd make a handsome pair on display! (My TD .051 looks kind of negelected without one)

WTB: empty Cox acrylic "Jewel Case" display box
With or without insert. These boxes were used to display TD .049-.051 engines when new. Boxes are clear acrylic plastic with Cox logo on the top left-hand corner. Need one to show a niceTD .051.
Acrylic must not show cracks, excessive scratches or UV "yellowing" from sunlight exposure. Many were discarded before Cox engines became so popular.
