Get them while they're there
I know most of you will choke on your cornflakes over this but......
The following have been out of stock for almost a year, I expect this
shipment will last days before it's sold out. It mimics a 110 dollar
Axi and if you ever think of a 30 sized lekky aerobat this is THE
motor.

Re: Get them while they're there
Hey John,
I promise I have no intention of hijacking your thread, but have you ordered from these folks? I've actually got an account with them, but have never ordered anything as I have a tough time understanding their S&H guide. I realize that your deal will probably different with your being in England, but thought I'd ask.
I'd like to try buying one of their sailplanes, but don't want to pay it's equivalent price just to get it to my house. If anyone else has info, could you please PM me or start a thread about it?

Re: Get them while they're there
Hello John,
Indeed, Sometimes you have to wait forever before items are back in stock. In the meantime 1000's of customers have it in their wishlist and it is sold out before you know it. Is there no better engine alternative?
@ Kim.
I ordered several times their. At the moment theres is a order on its way with a charger and a engine like above. They have warehouses al around the world and maybe it is easy for you to order one from a warehouse in the USA (if the plane is available there). It is a good company, until you receive something broken. Than you have to send it back and it takes ages before you receive something new.

Re: Get them while they're there
I've never waited more than 10 days for goods from Hong Kong.
Good things about their site are, Paypal so you have a minimum protection.
You can nominate the amount on the customs form/no nasty surprises from the Postman.
I had a dodgy cheapo Orange 'Futaba' Rx from them 18 months ago It was fine for
6/7 months then channel 1 developed a twitch so back it went/it took 6 weeks from
me sending to refund. By hey it was 1/4 the price of a Futaba 617 as this AXI 'alike' is.
Ordinarily I'm not a cheapo gear typa guy but for lipo's etc they're pretty much
unbeatable and great for those on a budget.
Bastiaan the 3d stuff is too light/flimsy to support IC without significant reworking.

Re: Get them while they're there
If you go over to RCGroups.com, there are thousands of threads. Mostly flaming the company, lost of heated arguments. They like to call it a "hit-or-miss" dealer. While others have over $10,000 invested in them, and have never had an issue.
I have ordered a few small items from them, with no problems. Just be prepared to wait 3+ weeks for the post. Sadly, the rule here is, don't spend more than you can afford to lose.

Hate to say say it Matt but there are some real drongo's on that other forum.
If using Paypal and the goods don't arrive you get your dough back.
