Free advice....cuz I want to compare
Gun nut with a drill for those willing to deep search for things for cheap
Items sought:
Ruger 10/22 receiver.... most likely MUST transfer through FFL...mine always charges $35
Factory trigger assy
Laminated thumb hole stock in red, blue, or green
Reason...just got a stupid cheap NIB Ruger 10/22 barrel 18.5".... $25 shipped
Goal to build up the very least expensive 10/22 for back yard play
Pay attn to the 18" barrel.... limits some stock selections
I have been playing with my searches for 2 days but will withhold the various items and costs and then later we will compare notes
Please link to super low items
I did find some very good on line deals for a whole used Ruger 10/22... but I know me--- and if it is a good rifle I would NOT use the receiver as a donor for the low cost build....that is unless the base rifle was totally trashed...barrel and stock
