Win 10..... Google Chrome (current build)
I need help, and rather than do a Google search I choose to ask my CEF friends
Just a few minuets ago I responded to a thread...as I was fast typing with my two finger method... I hit some Key combination that changed my browser to ULTRA small font
Before the key combo, I was at the default font size that was adequate....years ago I learned how to make the web page font in IE larger and I did to that make reading easier
I know there is a Google function to do this...
The squinting ( at 2 sized font)

Not being able to read a thing I experimented...
CTRL and the + key will increase and increase the font size of Google Chrome for CEF web pages...joy!
The size 24 font

Re: Win 10..... Google Chrome (current build)
I'm running Win98 on a old laptop, win7 on a newer desktop, and apple something on the iPad. I was thumb scrolling thru facebook, on the iPad, when all of a sudden everything was in Spanish!! WHAT?! I can't read anything cause it's all in spanish. I go to my wife's iPad and sign I onto her facebook page and find there is a small box on the bottom right hand side that lets you select your preferred language. I do some quick Spanish to English conversions and a click or two later every thing is back in English on my iPad, whew, that was close.
I figured it was like giving a "reddie " when when thumb scrolling thru this forum.
sí, estaba avergonzado

As you figured out, Fred, the ctrl+ increases font size and ctrl- decreases.fredvon4 wrote:Not being able to read a thing I experimented...

The size 24 font
Fred
Also ctrl0(zero) will restore to normal size font, regardless of size at the time.

Just tried out the font size thing on my Mac and it uses the "Command" key rather than "Control". Same function. + for big, - for small & 0 for default.

On Windows, alt left and alt right, page back and foreward respectively.Oldenginerod wrote:Just tried out the font size thing on my Mac and it uses the "Command" key rather than "Control". Same function. + for big, - for small & 0 for default.

Equivalent of Alt on a Mac is "Option". Only thing I've ever used it for is inserting extra lines into a spreadsheet. Hold down option & hit the up or down arrow to insert rows.
