Re: The 2017 International Ringmaster Fly-a-Thon is History!!!
Well silly me...in a sec
First... I did not in any way get the traditional von Gortler contribution number of flights this year and was real bummed about my poor effort...so reading that we YET AGAIN exceeded the record jazzed me
Yea to all!!!
Silly me?
Sean McEntee and I only flew the Sunday. I returned and left both my planes in the SUV for perhaps one or more trips back to the flied as the WX was very good for the week
BUT I was feeling more and more poorly as the week progressed...Mike Londke can relate... sinus infection that drug me down hard... still manged each day doing something in the shop...mostly the continued Primary Force rebuild
Today I finally pulled each plane and started my normal cleaning process... PITA...dried castor is hard to clean off out side, Both engines sluggish... flush, prime, fire, burn off, fill tank...greif....flushed tanks...mucho crud... NVAs cruded up..OH my what a MOROON...said Buggs Bunny
OK you get the idea....Fred screwed the pooch and today was all my fault
there is a lesson in here but as a sip a little more Gentleman Jack i forget what it was..
Screw you Virginia! I used to know what I wanted to say!
