This started as a simple reply to the Sam's first loop thread
And I got long winded----
Sparse funds this year (property repair mandatory expenditures)
Thankfully Brodak event is extended another year.... and for me close to our usual yearly (not this year) travel for the WVA family reunion..... our Buddy Bob AKA RSV1COX would probably be there to meet
Going to definitely get to the S.M.A.L.L event in Arkansas and brother Kim and I will finally meet....hopefully we find other CEFers in attendance
Desperately desire to get to GSCB nostalgia combat...perhaps meet a few of my inspirations and hopefully Ken Cook who has no idea how much he keeps me going with critical and inspiring opinions
Really Really want to do Huntersville NC if for no other reason than to meet many of you and watch Rusty and Mike show off
Ron Cribbs is also in my bucket list, as is a re visit to see Duke in PNW....pity I never got to meet Super Dave (what a crotchety old man) as I am sure we would have loved a beer and hours and hours to pontificate on every airplane and political subject
Australia has always been on my, and wife's, list but the killer long arsed/expensive flight is not going to happen cuz I never buy lottery tickets
Central Europe is for sure in the future because Renie and I have a lot of very good long time German friends from our 15 years there from the 70s to early 2000s on Army assignments....should be opportunity to meet a few on that side of the pond
I could go on a lot more like Rodger Harris, Bad Bill, Erik...and on and on...
I would seriously like to host any CEF members who happen though my area.
Pipe dream but I would like to travel and meet most every CEF member..... Admin... Jacob is up in my early school years....6th and 7th grade area...Fridley MN was fairly rural north of Twin Cities community and now lookss to be just a northern extension of the neighbor hood he lives in

Ron I have the room to accommodate you for a multi day, over night, or drive by few hour visit any time

So your saying your not going to make WV this year? We have spare bedrooms just going to waste, no no-tell motel bills to pay.

I had responded earlier but looks like bit land scarfed it up
Little to no travel this year out your way or to the norther west... fix income dictates
But because Renie and I have missed two years in a row now ---WVA--next year is planned ---and money being saved (Lord please don't shower us with more property repairs below deductible) (( or for that matter any more unplanned grief and costs))
hang in there RSV1COX...I plan to meet you before you turn 80....grin
