Re: How's the weather?
Here in New England, the weather has been all over the road. I'm glad that the heavy winds had subsided before foliage peak in my neck of the woods here in Northern Rhode Island. We've had a couple of frosts.. but at 6:30 this morning it was 61 degrees F. and misty.. and turned sunny late-morning.
Here's a photo from the parking lot of the old mill where I work. Another mill just down the river is seen here. It was originally built as a cotton mill.
My mom paints (mixed media) and asked about the mill. She may paint it.

Thanks Chancey, The Autumn scenery has been breathtaking this season. I've noticed a HUGE amount of acorns that have fallen this Fall in our yard. There are towering Oaks surrounding our home. Makes me wonder if we're in for a harsh Winter?
Re: How's the weather?
Beautiful picture, Roddie! Would make a great painting too.
The foliage was especially beautiful here too, the frosts in August created really bright colours. It’s all gone now, although it is unseasonably warm.
The weather has been all over around here too. Here’s a pic from October 21st:

I love the picture of the Mill too roddie. Rhode Island as I remember was quite beautiful in the Fall. Winter snows could be a problem. We lived on a dead end steep hill one way out, the Mustang was always a problem but my VW bug just chugged up the hill.
Beautiful here, mid 70's and sunshine. Still mowing lawn.
Looks like a Noodle, Doodle, Poodle Kari.

Better keep them on, otherwise they’ll be on their way somewhere over the Gulf in the wind

Makes me homesick, I have seen that very picture in my backyard. Hang on CB, I see one is forecasted to hit my old town of Spring Hill and brush you a bit.

Re: How's the weather?
An airport ??? could be Ramstein or Spangdahlem Air-Base ,
Sembach has been closed for years.
OFF-TOPIC:
To my memory ,
after Sembach was closed , Sb airstrip was used to testflight our
"French F2F" TR gear with .15 Moki TR9 Diesel early sunday mornings
2000 + 2001.

Pilot Peter + Pitman Frank .

Re: How's the weather?
Saturday Nov 21st @8.35 am. Sunrise
NASA told a month or two ago that the ash and soot from the California wildfires has reached the high altitudes over North Atlantic, causing very vibrant colours of sunsets. Saw a few of those too. Apparently they have traveled forward, now colouring also the Eastern sky.
Saturday morning was a nice change, it has been pretty much overcast or rainy for a few weeks.

Re: How's the weather?
Beautiful morning here in West Virginia, crisp 35 degrees F, sun coming up casting shadows through the woods. Rain last night washed everything clean. Walked down to the main road and back.

Re: How's the weather?
Janet & I just spent a few days down on our southern coast. A couple of days over 30º Celsius. Nights around 20º. Strong winds & roaring Southern Ocean. I'm no great swimmer or a fisherman but the coast has that certain appeal.
Did a 7km trek along the cliff tops one day, then a 25 km bicycle ride along a coastal rail trail. My knees are shot! Just as well I'm not working.
Considering our discussions on another post regarding snakes, we saw a big one sunning itself on the bike trail but I didn't have time to get out my phone to take a shot. It decided to move only after the first rider had passed it, not seeing the snake and surprised when we told him later. Red Bellied Black snake. Venomous but not agressive. About a metre long. Wouldn't have liked to get him tangles on my wheels!!

Glad the snake encounter wasn't at a closer range Rod!
Your shoreline there looks to be an excellent slope-soaring site!
