Anyone Know What Model this is? ?
Bought this at a yard sale, years ago. I think it came with my first Pee Wee engine. Hung up in the rafters of the garage for years. 17.5" WS 11.5" fuse length. Plank wing airfoil bend. Anyone know of a database with pictures of old kits? I want to restore this and would like to recreate the tail feathers as close to original as possible. Thanks!!

Top Flite Lancer. My first 1/2A Proto Profile. Dad put a Tee Dee on a Cox red tank mount and the thing rolled up the lines on the first flight. It had a warp in the wing so Dad glued it back together at the field with the brand new 5 minute epoxy and cut the warp off of the outboard wing with a pocket knife. It flew okay, on 42 foot .008 lines it was a hand full to get off for an 8 year old but it landed well with the gear in the wing.
The box top was a thing of beauty.

Wow! I had one of those when I was a kid too. It was a bit of a let down after the Baby Flight Streaks, but still fun, and hey, there are no bad days when you are a kid with a new model!
Mine was the only one I had ever seen. It was the only one at the hobby shop and they never got another one. That box art really reached out and grabbed me!
Good memories...
