Interesting Cox Parts and Accessories from eBay awhile ago.
I was going through my cox engine pictures folder and came across this picture. Anyone remember seeing these on eBay some time ago? If I remember correctly the seller was a former Estes worker. Its a lot of different cox parts and experimental parts (like those white plastic Babe Bee tanks).

Those tanks are very interesting. Wonder if they were considering those instead of the backplates in the bag to the right of them...which I think are Cox 190 backplates (like the red one on the engine above).

That is amazing it's would be just like Estes to make parts that used to be metal out of plastic but they are still cool.

i remember seeing that on ebay it sold for somewhere around $ 350. this was a topic on rcu at that time. one of the guys said that they were tanks for the texaco jr they just didn't have the red color on them yet. I know the texaco jr I had, had a metal red tank not plastic.

Estes did a lot of experimenting with parts that used to be aluminum.
The white tanks are prototypes....there were rumors of a .020 engine with a Surestart style backplate.
